Beginner Belly Dance
Created for complete beginners and students looking to brush up on their belly dance technique, this structured and easy to follow class is perfect for students to get to know the basics of belly dance. You learn all of the necessary core movements, isolations, and basic traveling steps.
Intermediate Belly Dance
This class is designed to expand your belly dance repertoire. You will hone your isolation technique and learn variations of basic movements and travel steps. You will be further introduced to Belly Dance music by learning to identify a few of the main Middle Eastern Rhythms. You will also be introduced to using the veil and other props as you continue to the next level in your dancing.
Adult Ballet - All levels
Thursdays I 6:15 pm
In this class you will work on gracefulness, strengthening feet and ankles, and flexibility. We will work on arabesques, arabesque turns, pirouette, chaine turns, pas de cheval to name a few. Not just for Ballet and Belly Dancers. Every dancer should cross train with Ballet Technique.
Tribal Fusion Technique and Combos
Tribal Fusion combines the techniques of American Tribal Style, Hip Hop, Classic Westernized dance, American Cabaret Bellydance and much more to create a style that is modern, serpentine, and smooth, Tribal Fusion Belly Dance also uses some of the same movement principles from traditional forms such as Flamenco, Kathak, Odissi, and other folkloric and classical dance styles. No Prerequisite needed! This class is perfect for anyone wanting to try something new, even if you're a beginner or experienced dancer. We'll break down posture, isolations, arm and footwork, traveling and then we'll work on combinations that will give students a solid grasp of this fun dance style
